Following our decision to reopen our offices at the end of June, in line with government guidance, we are now moving into the next stage of our phased plan to return gradually to normal working.
The safety of everyone who accesses and delivers our services remains our top priority. As such, contact within our offices remains limited to pre-booked appointments and emergencies only, to ensure social distancing guidelines can be observed and face-to-face contact between individuals remains minimal.
As of week beginning Monday 27th July, the following will apply:
Our offices in Newport, Abergavenny and Pontypool will be open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm for pre-booked appointments and emergencies only.
We remain committed to social distancing and visitors are required to adhere to the guidelines at all times – please familiarise yourself with our safety poster for further details.
Existing clients can continue to contact their support worker directly, or contact us via phone and email to make an appointment or access support.
Where possible, we will continue to provide support remotely via phone and email, and off-site to limit the number of people accessing our offices.
Anyone in need of direct support should continue to contact us via the phone number or email address for their nearest office.
Please only visit our offices without calling ahead if you are in immediate crisis and in need of emergency support.
Support workers and volunteers will continue to keep in touch with group members via phone, whilst piloting online group-work options.
We will continue to provide accommodation via our refuges, with our standard levels of support in place.
We still encourage anyone who does not have a support-related enquiry to contact us via email. Please email your nearest office if you would like to get in touch with us about anything else.
Please remember: if you need support in relation to any form of Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse or Sexual Violence: contact us
