We offer a range of trauma-informed services across Gwent to help individuals and families find safety and live their lives free from fear.

All our services are delivered by qualified and experienced staff who are experts in domestic abuse and sexual violence support.

Our focus is on empowering people to recognise their strengths, recover from their experiences and rebuild their lives.

Our support is confidential and non-judgmental. We’ll help you to access the support and services you need, and give you the space to make the right choices for you.

Our support will always be tailored to your needs

Examples of the support we provide across our range of services include:

  • One-to-one support

  • Safety planning

  • Safe accommodation

  • Support over the phone

  • Support around Family Court

  • Help to make your own home safer

  • Support with the police process

  • Group-based support

  • Help with finances and money issues

  • Support to access legal advice

  • Support and advocacy with statutory agencies, such as social services

  • Counselling and other therapies

  • Support and advocacy with housing

  • Support to access welfare benefits, education, training and employment

  • Referrals and signposting to other services that you might need

Drop-in & crisis support

Confidential drop-in services for people in crisis or in need of initial support.

Refuge accommodation

Our refuges are safe spaces, offering welcoming accommodation for anyone escaping any form of violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Our support staff can offer advice via 03300 564456 during office hours (Mon-Fri 9.30am-4.30pm). Outside of office hours, our phone number can be used to access urgent information and advice.
