What do we stand for?

Cyfannol Women’s Aid is an evolving charity with almost 50 years’ experience supporting those affected by .

Our vision is a world where everyone feels safe from abuse, harm and violence. Our teams work tirelessly 365 days a year to support those who need them.

It is our mission is to stand with individuals, especially women and children, who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse, harm, or violence. Through the provision of specialist, holistic support, we strive for people to feel safer, gain more control, and have choice over decisions about their future.

It is our ambition to evolve all that we do by listening, learning, evaluating and adapting.

I’ve had a wide variety of jobs over the last 40 years, including in the public, private and voluntary sectors, but I can honestly say that Cyfannol is the best place I’ve worked – great people, worthwhile job, and really feel appreciated for what I do.

What could your employment package look like?

Positive work-life integration

We are a family-friendly employer, with agile working options and a time off in lieu (TOIL) policy.

Employee Assistance Programme

A free and confidential service available to all staff and volunteers.

Enhanced annual leave provision

Up to 35 days per year FTE (inclusive of bank holidays). We also recognise long service with increased annual leave by 1 day per year after 5 years, up to 10 years of service.

Business mileage

We offer a mileage rate of 45p per mile, with an additional 5p per mile for passengers.

Organisational sick pay

We offer enhanced sick pay entitlement, beyond the statutory minimum.
