As a charitable organisation, we rely on the vital contribution of volunteers to support some of our projects.
All of our volunteer placements are open to individuals aged 18 and over and are subject to an enhanced DBS check. We also provide comprehensive training and ongoing supervision to ensure you feel supported and confident in your role within the team.
For job vacancies, please see our careers page.
Volunteering has so many benefits – both to the individual volunteering and to the beneficiaries of their support.
As a volunteer with Cyfannol, you can:
Support and strengthen your community
Make a meaningful difference to individuals
Develop new skills and build your self-confidence
Be part of a team and connect with new people
Receive specialist training and regular supervision
Gain experience of working with a specialist VAWDASV organisation
Give your time, earn Tempo Time Credits, and enjoy fun activities in return
Knowing that just giving some of your time can make such a difference to someone’s future is amazing. It’s so fulfilling and the team members have been so supportive during the training and onto the volunteering itself!
At Cyfannol Women’s Aid, we are fortunate to receive a wide range of donated items that support the work of our teams. We are looking for volunteers to help us manage these valuable donations effectively. What’s involved in this role?
If you’d like to find out more about this volunteer role and the application process, please contact fundraising@cyfannol.org.uk
At Cyfannol Women’s Aid, we believe that the people we support should shape the work we do. As a person‑led organisation, we are committed to creating safe and supportive spaces where individuals feel heard, respected, and valued.
If you have lived experience of violence against women, domestic abuse, and sexual violence (VAWDASV), and have previously accessed or are currently accessing support from Cyfannol, we would really value your voice and perspective.
