Working and
volunteering for us

Our staff are our best asset and on this page you can find our current vacancies for full-time, part-time and volunteer positions

We are always looking for people with passion and drive to join our teams, either as staff or volunteers. All of our current vacancies are listed below.

Our Mission – Empowering women and children to flourish in a life free from domestic abuse and sexual violence – is at the heart of everything we do.

Why join our team?

We are a women-led charity with strong values. We believe firmly in supporting and empowering our staff. As such, we offer a comprehensive package of core training and additional professional development opportunities. Support and supervision includes monthly supervision, annual appraisal, access to Occupational Health, counselling and clinical supervision.

We support employees to put themselves and their family first when they need to and we have Family Friendly, Working From Home and Flexibility Working policies in place. We also offer all staff an additional day of annual leave for their birthday!

We are proud to say that 30% of our current staff are now in positions of a higher grade and salary then when they started with the organisation.

What do our staff say about working for us?

“After joining Cyfannol in January 2020, I felt supported and part of a great team instantly, everyone is approachable and on hand to offer guidance, staff are passionate and company values are extremely high, I have never felt so appreciated within a work environment.”

“I love working for Cyfannol women’s aid. I feel privileged to work with the women I work with. The commitment, care and support of our clients is inspiring and tireless! As is the support between the staff. There is a great sense of camaraderie in the office. There is always someone to look to for support, practical or otherwise. A good sense of humour usually prevails!”

“Having previously worked in large businesses where I was seen as a number, since working for Cyfannol I feel valued and appreciated for the work I do. I feel I am able to put ideas forward and they will be listened to. Most of all I feel part of a big team all with the same goals, of a client led service.”

What we are looking for:

We want team players and collaborators who can demonstrate warmth and empathy, both for colleagues and people using our services.

We have the same expectations of all our staff, whether they are in front line positions, delivering services or working behind the scenes to support business excellence. Together, we have developed a framework of 6 essential qualities we are looking for.
