Older People’s Project Raises Awareness

in Awareness Raising, Cyfannol Updates Share this

The Gwent-wide Older People’s awareness-raising project, funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, was set up to help people over 55 recognise domestic abuse and sexual violence and access support services. Our Older People’s awareness-raising worker identified gaps in provision and connected with organisations and communities across Gwent to improve understanding of abuse and help older people access support.

To mark the end of the project, Cyfannol has published an information leaflet for older people, developed in consultation with a steering group of specialist support agencies across Gwent:

Please download the leaflet to share with your networks and get in touch if you would like hard copies for your office or staff.
