Give the Gift of Hope this Christmas

This Christmas, let’s bring safety, comfort, and hope to those affected by abuse.

Christmas should be a time of warmth, joy, and togetherness but for many individuals and families in Gwent, the season is marked by fear, isolation, and harm. Abuse doesn’t take a break over the festive season in fact; the pressures of the season can make things even harder for those already living in unsafe situations.

At Cyfannol Women’s Aid, we provide vital support for women, men, and children affected by abuse, harm, & violence. Through safe accommodation, emotional and practical support, and a commitment to help people to feel safer, have more control, and have choice in decisions about their future.

Following the incredible success of last year’s festive appeal, we’re proud to continue our Hampers of Hope appeal.

This Christmas, we’re once again creating 75 special hampers one for every person staying in our accommodation services. Each hamper is carefully packed by a support with self-care items, festive treats, and a cosy oversized hoodie small but meaningful gifts that bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of joy on what can be a very difficult day.

These hampers are more than just presents; they’re a reminder that someone cares.

But items from our wishlist

“Thank you so much. I can’t remember the last time I was given a Christmas present.”

“I’ve never felt so cared and thought about before.”
