Donate items

We are always in need of new essential items, such as toiletries and store-cupboard food items, and you can get in touch to donate these to one of our hwbs.

When you donate items

They may be given directly to women in need, ensuring they have access to essentials such as clothing, toiletries, household items and comfort items during a crisis or fresh start.

Or, where items are surplus to requirements or can’t be distributed within a reasonable timescale, they may be sold to generate vital income, which helps us purchase urgent new essentials we must supply regularly, such as underwear, shoes, and other items that run out quickly or need to be bought new.

Every donation, whether used directly or sold to raise funds, plays an important part in supporting women and families across Gwent.

Local Donation Appeals

Because we have limited storage and capacity to handle larger donations, we sometimes need to be selective about what we accept, especially when our stock rooms are full.

We may also need to request items urgently for people fleeing abuse who may arrive with nothing. Our teams will update this page with the specific items needed most at any given time.

You can find our office addresses on our Contact page, or call us on 03300 564456 to arrange an appointment to drop off your donations.

Please note that we are unable to accept donations of secondhand car seats or electrical items due to being unable to PAT test.

Online donation shops

We know that everyone’s schedules are busy and making in‑person donations isn’t always possible. Through our convenient online shops, you can purchase essential items directly for the people we support, all from your phone. Every item you buy makes a direct and immediate impact.

Some areas and shops are still being set up. If you don’t yet see a shop for the area you’d like to support, please contact our team directly. You’ll find links and contact details below.
