Cyfannol Women’s Aid is delighted to have achieved a conditional pass in the Welsh Women’s Aid National Quality Service Standard Assessment.
Cyfannol Women’s Aid is one of five Welsh Women’s Aid members that participated in the NQSS pilot, which aims to provide evidence that specialist services are operating within a quality framework: a strengths-based, needs-led model of intervention that supports survivors and their children to build resilience, and leads towards independence and freedom. The development of these standards and their roll out across Wales has been supported by the Welsh Government and the National Advisor.
The Assessment Panel met on 18 March 2016 and concluded:
“We have great pleasure in confirming that Cyfannol has been awarded a conditional pass and is therefore awarded the Welsh Women’s Aid National Quality Service Standard, providing the recommendations made by the panel are met within six months.”
