On 26th October 2016, The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse opened its Wales Office in Cardiff. The Inquiry offers an opportunity to examine the extent to which institutions and organisations have taken seriously their responsibility to protect children and to consider allegations of child sexual abuse involving well-known people.
Through the Truth Project, victims and survivors can share their experiences and offer testimony to the Inquiry. Private sessions can be arranged and specialist support will be available to each person who engages with the project and victims and survivors can be accompanied by family members, friends or other support of their choice.
This document gives details of how victims and survivors can go about contacting the Inquiry and sharing their experiences.
Further details available through the IICSA website www.iicsa.org.uk Information line: 0800 917 1000.
