Celebrating Pride

It was wonderful to join in Pride Cymru 2022 – a weekend devoted to love, joy, and equality. We felt privileged to speak with so many people, hear heart-warming accounts from those who’ve received support, and make so many positive connections. Thank you to Welsh Women’s Aid and Cardiff Women’s Aid – it was great to stand together to raise awareness of the support services in different areas.

Being a part of Newport’s first-ever Pride in the Port was also incredible. The community came together to celebrate Pride, and Belle Vue Park was jam-packed! We had the chance to chat with a wide range of individuals from around Gwent, both those we have previously supported and new people who were interested in learning more about us and what we do. We also had the opportunity to take in some excellent live entertainment performed by some amazingly talented locals. We can’t wait to see what this event will grow into.
