Easter Egg Appeal

At Cyfannol Women’s Aid, we want to make sure every child and young person we support gets to experience a joyful childhood after going through trauma. That means helping them to have an egg-cellent Easter!

How you can help us this Easter:

On average, Cyfannol supports up to 215 children across Gwent, whether they find somewhere to call home in our refuges or participate in group support sessions or counselling. that’s 215 children who will potentially go without a gift this Easter unless we do something about it.

As much as we would love to provide all these eggs for the children, it is not possible unless we have support from our community joining this Easter Egg Appeal. Our supply of Easter eggs is dependent on community donations, so we need your help!

Whether you are an individual or an organisation, we’re simply asking that you only give up to 10 Easter chocolate eggs. We also ask that you consider donating jelly sweets, dairy-free, nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan options for children with specific dietary requirements.

Please note we are only able to accept donations of the items we have requested above, due to the amazing support we had at Christmas and the lack of storage space we are unable to accept any other donations. Alternatively, if you would like to support us in another way, you can donate here.

Register as a Donor:

Individuals and organisations interested in donating eggs can register here. We will guide you through the process and provide all necessary information. This information is needed so we can inform our staff who to expect and how much is going to be donated.

Donate Medium Cadbury Easter Eggs

These cost around £1.50, and you can buy them from your local grocery store, such as Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, etc. If you’re conflicted about which Easter eggs to buy, please judge your purchases around the pricing of the eggs.

Hosting an Egg Drive:

You don’t need to do this alone. Extend the impact of the Easter Egg Appeal by organising local egg drives to collect donations from the community.

You can drop these donations off at one of our offices local to you by 15th March. Please note we are unable to accept donations after this date due to not being able to get them to the children we support before Easter.

Celebrate your success:

When it comes close to the deadline and you go to donate your collection to your local Cyfannol office, why not take some photos and share them on social media to show the difference you’ll be making while taking part in our appeal?

Don't forget to spread the word about your support!

The Easter Egg Appeal is a donation drive aimed at collecting Easter chocolate eggs and other specified treats for children with dietary requirements, to bring joy to those who have experienced domestic abuse.

The appeal officially starts on 5th February until 15th March, we cannot accept any gifts after the above deadlines as they will be distributed to the families we support very shortly after this date to ensure delivery for Easter

Unfortunately, due to limited storage space and overwhelming support during Christmas, we can only accept donations of up to 10 Easter chocolate eggs, along with jelly sweets, dairy-free, nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan options as requested.

To register as a donor, whether as an individual or an organisation, please visit our sign up form. The registration process will guide you through providing the necessary information. This helps us anticipate donations and plan accordingly.

Help us by sharing information on social media platforms using the official hashtag #EasterAppeal. Encourage your friends and family to join the cause. Additionally, share the provided images to amplify the message.

If you are interested in running an Easter Egg Appeal, please complete our online registration form. You will then receive an email from the fundraising team with further details.
